OUR MISSION
Training the next generation of mental health professionals
At The Counseling Institute of Baltimore, we are committed to supporting the development of future behavioral health leaders through hands-on clinical learning experiences. We serve as a clinical field placement site for Master of Social Work (MSW) students, provide clinical supervision for LMSWs licensed in Maryland and Virginia, and offer preceptorship opportunities for nursing students enrolled in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) programs.
Our goal is to provide meaningful educational experiences that help students and early-career clinicians build confidence, strengthen clinical skills, and prepare for long-term success in the mental health field.
